As a beginner, you can choose to play with just the independent countries and on the easy level. When you are feeling more confident, you can try the hard level. However, if you want a real feast of flags, you can include the disputed, dependent, and autonomous territories. Includes many territories that other flag apps ignore, such as Aceh, Alderney, Hong Kong, Kurdistan, Puntland, and many more.
Also includes the subnationals (states, provinces, territories) of Canada and the United States, with more countries to come in updates.
Choose from four types of question: guess the country from the flag, guess the flag from the country, guess the country from the capital, and guess the capital from the country.
Four quiz modes available. See how many questions you can answer in one minute or two minutes. Or go for the marathon option with “ask me all” mode. And if you are feeling brave, you can go for the dreaded “ironman challenge”: one wrong answer and it’s game over.
You can play the quiz with the whole world, or restrict it to a region (Africa, Americas, Asia, Europe, Oceania and Antarctica).
You get bonus points for answering quickly, but you lose points for wrong answers. So do you choose to go for the bonus or take a few more seconds to try to find the right answer?
The current total is 380 flags (195 countries, 121 territories, and 64 subnationals), with many more to come!
